Morrison United Methodist Youth Group |
Students in 6th – 12th grades looking for a fun, inviting place to worship and learn about God have found the right place! Youth ministry at Morrison UMC connects teens to create authentic relationships with each other while strengthening their faith in God.
First and foremost we’'re passionate about helping our high school students develop and deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire for them to mature in their faith, learn to rely on God in all situations, and then take that faith to their schools, jobs, families, and neighborhoods. We understand that high school can be a pressure-filled time— of peer pressure, grades, college decisions, and sexual purity. Therefore, we seek to support and encourage students with practical, biblical advice for dealing with difficult choices. Ways we join in Christian discipleship are through Sunday School and Wednesday and Sunday afternoon fellowships. Throughout the year we participate in fun activities and missions – pictures from some of these activities can be found below. Every summer our youth attend a variety of United Methodist camps. |
